The FWD Vietnam Insurance Company (FWD) has picked up the “Marketing Initiative of the Year” award at the 2018 Asia Insurance Awards, for the different strategies and excellent marketing activities it has implemented over the last year.
This is the first time a life insurance company in Vietnam has won the award. “We are very honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Ms. Vuong My Phung, Deputy General Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy at FWD Vietnam. “This is further proof of our vision to ‘change the way people feel about insurance’. With the message ‘Get ready to live’, FWD has sent out a new, innovative and different image about life insurance to Vietnamese people.”
The Asian Insurance Awards are organized by Insurance Asia magazine to honor the best strategies and campaigns of insurance companies across Asia. More than 100 senior executives from 30 insurance companies and 15 countries attended the awards ceremony.
FWD has made a strong mark since its launch in Vietnam in 2016, with impressive marketing campaigns such as branding on Grab and Uber, introducing the “hit” song “Get ready to live”, and for the first time introducing and distributing breakthrough cancer insurance products on Tiki.vn.
