The VN-Index finished June 14 at 1,015.72 points on HSX, down 14.81 points (1.44 per cent), while the VN30-Index ended the day at 1,004.31 points, down 14.28 points (1.40 per cent).
On HNX, the HNX-Index closed at 114.91 points, down 1.75 points (1.50 per cent), the HNX30-Index 206.32 points, down 4.08 points (1.94 per cent), and the UPCoM-Index 53.10 points, down 0.10 points (0.18 per cent).
Liquidity on HSX was VND4.3 trillion ($188.5 million) and VND526.6 billion ($23.08 million) on HNX.
TAC was the only gainer in food and beverages, by 1.7 per cent, while TLG lost 1.7 per cent, SAB 0.9 per cent, VNM 0.6 per cent, and BHN 0.3 per cent, as VCF, BBC and KDC closed at their opening price.
In banking, VCI gained 2.3 per cent, MSN 1.2 per cent and EIB 0.7 per cent. BVH lost 5.9 per cent, BID and VPB 4.6 per cent, SSI 4 per cent, MBB 3.1 per cent, VCB 3 per cent, CTG 2.4 per cent, STB 2 per cent, TPB 0.7 per cent and TCB 0.4 per cent.
Losers in energy included PVD, by 3.1 per cent, PVT and GAS 2.7 per cent, PPC 1.1 per cent, and PLX 0.4 per cent, as NT2 gained 0.7 per cent and PGD closed at its opening price.
The Top 5 shares bought by foreign investors were SKG, VRE, CTD, HCM and BMP.
VIC was the largest net share sold on HSX, followed by HPG, DXG, STB and BID.
VGC was the largest net share sold on HNX, followed by SHB, PVS, SHS and TIG.
On UPCoM, foreign investors bought 25,007 shares worth VND3.95 billion ($173,160).
They net sold on HSX by VND594.77 billion ($26 million) and on HNX by VND69.68 billion ($3.05 million).
